Narva Castle Permanent Exhibition
The Narva Castle has been reconstructed in a way where existing architectural structures are refined with clean and laconic interior design. Exhibition is trying to add another layer to the installation and not dominate over the interior design.
TMD produced 4 interactive games on touchscreens where visitors can build their own castle’s using blocks from different eras.
Also, physical motoric skills are to be tested by hand wrestling machine and throwing game. Both games are filled with historic information about Livonian Castles and the rulers of different empires and eras. Visitors can choose an opponent of their liking and try to hand wrestle with them.
The star exhibit of Narva castle’s permanent exhibition is the confrontation room’s interactive battle projection where an oversized faces have projections on them and in the middle of the room there is a massive round table where visitors can view the events on 1558, 1700 and 1918 battles from a birds view.
In a corridor, TMD produced a wall mapping projection installation where different parts of the walls are lit according to their building date.
